Don’t miss our first plant sale of the year! Hosted by the dedicated volunteers in our Plant Donations Nursery and Pat Calvert Greenhouse, the sale takes place within the beautiful environs of Washington Park Arboretum, so you can come shop for your plants near the Graham Visitors Center and then enjoy a relaxing stroll through Seattle’s premier public garden.
What you’ll find at the nursery: A nice assortment of spring-flowering perennials, including trout lilies, trilliums, cyclamen, English primroses, hellebores, and hostas. The nursery will also have a nice array of trees and shrubs, as well as lots of summer-blooming perennials.
What you’ll find at the greenhouse: A great selection of young azaleas, camellias, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, and other woody plants propagated from Arboretum collections. Choice specimen shrubs, such as Garrya × issaquahensis, Mexican orange, and royal grevillea. Unusual perennials, such as species primroses and Dahurican gentians. Lots of compact conifers.
All sales benefit the maintenance and kids’ education programs at the Arboretum!
